Tim Brunton is a Senior Lecturer in Animation & Production Management at Teesside University's Department of Computing & Games Centre for Digital Innovation. His career spans industry and academia, beginning as a construction draughtsman before transitioning to Higher Education as a mature student, where he studied Interior Architecture and Computer Animation. He combines creative and technical expertise through roles in virtual reality project management, enterprise development, and PRINCE2 training.

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture
Research interests focus on character design in games, emphasizing emotional engagement and player empathy. His work integrates industrial experience in project management and commercialization of academic IP, exemplified by involvement in a patent for a 6-degree-of-freedom computer input device.
Enterprise Activities include fostering industrial links, identifying commercializable IP, and business development for Teesside University's Schools of Computing and Arts & Media.
