Tilmann Sutter is a Professor of Sociology with a focus on media sociology at the Faculty of Sociology, Bielefeld University. His research examines media differentiation, media change, audience behaviors, and media socialization processes. He joined Bielefeld University in 2005 after holding academic positions at the Universities of Freiburg, Essen, and Hamburg.
