Tilmann Betsch

Prof. Dr. Tilmann Betsch holds the Professorship for Social, Organizational and Business Psychology at the Faculty of Education of the University of Erfurt. Starting from October 2025, he will serve as the Dean of the Faculty. His research focuses on judgment and decision-making, particularly the role of intuition, heuristics, and routines in cognitive processes. He directs the Erfurt Laboratory for Empirical Research and actively participates in academic committees and editorial boards.
