Tilly Harrison

Tilly Harrison is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Linguistics at the University of Warwick, focusing on teaching and research in language education. Her work emphasizes corpus linguistics applications in English for Academic Purposes (EAP), technology integration in language teaching, and second language writing pedagogy.

With international teaching experience in France, Spain, Sierra Leone, and Japan, she has extensive expertise in computer-assisted language learning (CALL) and materials development. She has held leadership roles including Chair of the Local Organizing Committee for BAAL's 2014 Annual Meeting and currently serves on IATEFL's Conference Proposals Committee.

Her research explores innovative pedagogical tools like machinima (video-based simulations) and video feedback mechanisms. A notable project funded by the British Council (2016–2018) investigated video applications in language teacher education.
