Tigran Palyan is an Adjunct Professor at Southwestern Law School, teaching Family Law Procedure & Practice and Small Law Practice Management. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy (cum laude) from UC San Diego (2006) and a J.D. (cum laude) from Southwestern Law School (2009). A member of the California State Bar since 2009, he has extensive legal practice experience with top-tier firms like Trope & Trope LLP and Trope & DeCarolis LLP, where he became a partner.
Active in legal education and advocacy, Palyan served on the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) Family Law Section, chaired Trial Readiness Clinics for self-represented litigants, and co-chaired the Student Affairs Committee of the Armenian Bar Association. He currently acts as Legislative Liaison for the California State Bar Family Law Section’s executive committee.
