Tiffany Springer

Tiffany Springer serves as Assistant Professor of Teacher Education and Chair of the School of Education and Human Development at Monmouth College. Returning to her alma mater in 2023 after two decades of K-12 educational experience as a teacher, principal, and administrator, she leverages her background as a first-generation college graduate to mentor future educators. Her leadership emphasizes close faculty-student relationships that build teaching confidence and effectiveness.

Dr. Springer's research centers on evidence-based literacy instruction, with dual emphases on the science of reading/writing and English language learner education. She champions these areas as critical for equitable student outcomes, while also integrating diversity, equity, inclusion, and educational technology into her scholarly focus. Her work directly addresses systemic barriers in K-12 settings through practical classroom applications.

Actively engaged with regional school districts including Monmouth-Roseville, West Central, and Washington District 50, she provides professional development in literacy, curriculum alignment, and resource development through Regional Offices of Education #33 and #26. As department chair, she oversees teacher preparation programs that produce highly effective educators ready for classroom challenges.
