Tiffany Robayna is an Assistant Professor at Samford University in the Department of World Languages and Cultures within the Howard College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a PhD in Spanish Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition from Florida State University, a Master’s degree in Teaching Languages (Spanish and ESL) from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education from Anderson University.

Her research and teaching focus on Second Language Acquisition, Processing Instruction, Computer Assisted Language Learning, and Bilingualism. She has extensive experience teaching Spanish at the high school level and in higher education institutions such as Florida State University, Auburn University, and Samford University.
Robayna has also been deeply involved in mission work, including church planting in Madrid, Spain; ESL ministry; and medical mission trips to Ecuador, Costa Rica, Honduras, The Dominican Republic, Hungary, and Venezuela. She actively participates in Hispanic ministries across Alabama with her husband, and they are raising their two children, Senia and Eli, to be bilingual and spiritually grounded.
