Tiffany Atkinson is a Professor in Creative Writing (Poetry) at the School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing, University of East Anglia. She is a member of the Creative Writing Research Group and holds an ORCID ID: 0000-0002-1139-6069. Her research explores themes such as the expression and implications of emotion in poetry, as evidenced by her Leverhulme Trust-funded project "O What Can I Say?: The Embarrassments of Poetry" (2019-2021).
Her research interests include contemporary poetry, literary criticism, and creative writing pedagogy. Notable outputs include the poetry collection Lumen (2021), and contributions to The Poetry Review. She has been recognized with the prestigious Cholmondeley Award for Poetry (2022) and a Poetry Book Society Recommendation (2021).
