Tiffanie Carson

Tiffanie Carson is an Auxiliary Adjunct Assistant Professor of Dance at Shenandoah Conservatory (Shenandoah University) since 2013 and adjunct faculty at Peabody Institute, Johns Hopkins University. Based in Shingleton Hall, Room 32, she teaches contemporary and commercial dance techniques to dance and musical theatre majors, choreographs faculty concerts, and mentors capstone projects.

• Awards: Transformative Teaching Award (2020), James R. and Mary B. Wilkins Appreciation Award (2024)
• Performance Highlights: Performed at Kennedy Center, On the Boards, and nine-city tour for Pōhaku (2016-2017)

Her choreographic works like "Deprivation" and "B.U.G. [Backlight. Uplight. Glare.]" have been praised as "choreographic home runs." Carson actively tours with Native Intelligence / Innate Intelligence (2025 stops: Hawaii, Maine) and conducts dance intensives nationwide.
