Tibor M. Pintér

Tibor M. Pintér is an Associate Professor at the Department of Hungarian Linguistics, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary. With a PhD in Hungarian Linguistics from ELTE (2009) and expertise spanning corpus linguistics, Bible translation, and sociolinguistics, he has established himself as a leading scholar in Hungarian language studies and translation theory. His academic journey includes research positions at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Research Institute for Linguistics and ELTE's Teacher Training Faculty.

He has made significant contributions to the Termini Hungarian-Hungarian Dictionary project, creating valuable resources for Hungarian language varieties spoken in the Carpathian Basin.
