Tianna Barnes is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration in the Organizational Behavior area at the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College. Her research examines micro-organizational experiences of identity, diversity, and stigma, with a focus on how these intersect with individual socialization processes.
- Education: PhD in Management from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota (2020); Double BA in Psychology and Gender Studies from the University of North Carolina (2015).
As an organizational psychologist, Professor Barnes explores how marginalized identities navigate workplace dynamics and institutional barriers. Her work has been published in the Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior. She teaches foundational courses including Tuck Launch and Managing People.
