Dr Thu Ngo is a Researcher at UNSW Sydney, affiliated with the School of Arts, Design & Architecture. She holds a Ph.D. in Education Linguistics from the University of New England, Australia, focusing on evaluative language deployment. Her expertise spans Systemic Functional Linguistics, Multimodal Digital Literacy Education, Paralanguage analysis (body language, gesture, facial expressions), and Children’s Literature. Dr Ngo has received grants including the ACU Teaching Development Grant (2019-2020) for visualizing multimodal literacy pedagogy and the Explorance Faculty Research Grant (2021) for student-feedback-based course redesign.
