Thomas Vils Pedersen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. His research focuses on Banach algebras, function algebras, and derivations between Banach function algebras. He is also involved in teaching mathematics and mathematical models to non-mathematics students.
His work spans functional analysis, operator theory, and mathematical modeling in environmental chemistry. Notable collaborations include interdisciplinary studies on phosphate sorption in lowland soils under varying conditions.
