Thomas Speck is a Professor of Theoretical Physics at the University of Stuttgart since 2022. He previously held a W2 Professorship at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (2013-2022) and was a spokesperson for the DFG Research Training Group GRK 2516 (2020-2022) and the JGU Profile Area "Mainz Institute for Multiscale Modeling (M3ODEL)" (2019-2022). He served as an editor for the New Journal of Physics from 2016 to present.
