Thomas Shriver is Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at North Carolina State University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences. His research examines environmental sociology, social movements, health impacts of industrial contamination, and political sociology.
Shriver's education includes a PhD and MA in Sociology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and a BA in Sociology from Western Kentucky University.
