Thomas Reiß

Dr. Thomas Reiß is a资深 researcher at Fraunhofer ISI, specializing in innovation systems and emerging technologies. He holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Freiburg University and has led departments such as Innovations in Biotechnology (1996-2004) and Emerging Technologies (2005-2020). His work focuses on innovation policy, healthcare systems, and Key Enabling Technologies (KETs). He has contributed to projects like the Graphene Flagship and co-authored over 200 publications.

His research interests include technology sovereignty, policy impact assessment, and socio-economic transformations driven by science and technology.
