Thomas Lardaro

Thomas Lardaro is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and EMS Section Chief at Yale School of Medicine. He serves as the system medical director for the Office of Emergency Preparedness in the Yale New Haven Health System. Previously, he led EMS systems in Indianapolis, including overseeing a 9-1-1 dispatch center and building IU Health LifeLine, a comprehensive regional EMS entity. His clinical work focuses on emergency medicine, with expertise in prehospital care and trauma management. Dr. Lardaro holds an MD from Johns Hopkins University, an MPH in epidemiology and biostatistics, and a BSc in biological sciences.
