Professor Thomas Krieg is a faculty member in the Department of Medicine at the University of Cambridge and leads the Krieg Lab within the Experimental Medicine and Immunotherapeutics (EMIT) group. His research focuses on cardiometabolic medicine, myocardial ischemia, mitochondrial dysfunction, reperfusion injury, and stroke. He is affiliated with the Cambridge Cardiovascular Interdisciplinary Research Centre (IRC), BHF Cambridge Centre of Excellence (CRE), and collaborates with researchers like Professor Kevin Brindle, Professor Michael Murphy, and Professor Sanjay Sinha.
