Thomas Jacobsen is Professor of Psychology at the Experimental Psychology Unit (Allgemeine Psychologie) of Helmut Schmidt University/University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg since 2009. Previously, he held academic positions at Universität Leipzig (1998–2009), including Assistant Professor (2001), Associate Professor (2004–2009), and interim Professor at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Vienna (2007–2008). He serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Leipzig since 2009.
