Thomas Gautier is a Research Fellow at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy's Research Center International Development. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University (2021), an M.Sc. in Econometrics from Stockholm University, and a B.A./M.A. from Université Catholique de Louvain and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. His research examines forced migration, civil conflicts, and development economics using applied microeconomic methods.
