Thomas F. Epper is a Research Director at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and an affiliated professor of Economics at IÉSEG School of Management (Lille & Paris). He serves as Co-Director of the iRisk Research Center on Risk and Uncertainty in France and holds associated memberships at the Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality (CEBI) in Copenhagen and the Risk, Insurance and Savings Laboratory (RISLαβ).
His research focuses on economic decision-making under risk and uncertainty, intertemporal choice, and inequality and redistribution. He integrates economic theory with quantitative methods, analyzing diverse datasets from population experiments to financial markets.
