Thomas Eiter

Thomas Eiter is a Full Professor of Knowledge-Based Systems and Computer Science at Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien), where he has served as Head of the Institute of Information Systems since 2004. His work bridges artificial intelligence, computational logic, and knowledge representation, with significant contributions to nonmonotonic reasoning and declarative problem-solving. He has led major international conferences and projects, including the Vienna Summer of Logic (2014), and received accolades like the Prominent Paper Award (AIJ 2013) and Test of Time Award (ICLP 2013).
