Thomas D. Tran

Dr. Thomas D. Tran is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Indiana Tech's Talwar College of Engineering and Computer Sciences. He specializes in energy systems optimization, renewable energy integration, and thermoeconomics. His research focuses on district energy systems, stochastic optimization, and uncertainty quantification in energy infrastructure. Tran holds a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah and Cal Poly Pomona, respectively.
