Dr. Thomas Connors is an Assistant Professor at Kean University's College of Liberal Arts, Department of Fine Arts, specializing in Music Education, Conducting, and Wind Band Literature. He serves as Director of Instrumental Music and Conducting Studies, overseeing the University Wind Ensemble and Chamber Winds while teaching conducting and courses in the Music Education program. Since 2013, he has coordinated the Music Conservatory.

His leadership roles include Executive Director of the New Jersey Band Directors Association and committee service with the New Jersey Music Educators. His research focuses on instrumental pedagogy, wind ensemble performance, and music education curricula.
