Professor Thomas Clausen at the University of Oslo's SERAF - Norwegian Centre for Addiction Research is a leading expert in opioid addiction treatment and overdose prevention. His research focuses on Opioid Maintenance Treatment (OMT), treatment outcomes, and public health interventions. As Head of the Norwegian Addiction Research Centre since 2016, he leads international collaborations with WHO, EU, and U.S. institutions like the Alcohol Research Group.
