Thomas Bryer is a Pegasus Professor (UCF's highest honor) in the School of Public Administration, University of Central Florida, since 2007. He has led multiple initiatives including directing the Center for Public and Nonprofit Management, UCF Downtown's Community-Engaged Scholarship program, and the Master of Nonprofit Management program. Currently co-chairs the Center for Social and Civic Prosperity. His expertise spans public administration theory, civic engagement, and international governance.

Research focuses on democratic practices in education, citizen participation strategies, and the role of universities in fostering civic health.
