Thomas Breda is a researcher at the CNRS and economist at the Institute of Public Policy (IPP), affiliated with Paris School of Economics since 2013. He serves as Director of the IPP's Labor Program, a position he has held since 2015.
Dr. Breda's research focuses on collective bargaining, discrimination, and inequalities in the labor market. His work examines critical issues in employment relations and labor market dynamics, contributing to policy-relevant insights in these areas. His research spans both theoretical and empirical analyses of labor market institutions and outcomes.
Thomas Breda completed his academic training at prestigious French institutions, having been a former student of the École normale supérieure and earning his doctorate in economics from the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS). He further developed his expertise through post-doctoral research at the London School of Economics.
