Dr. Thomas Bottelier is a Lecturer in the Department of History and Art History at Utrecht University, specializing in 20th-century international relations and military history. His teaching covers European and international history, conflict analysis, and the politics of violence.
Research interests include the global perspective of the Second World War, focusing on military-industrial cooperation among the Allies (Britain, France, and the United States) and their colonial empires.
