Thomas Blondelle

Thomas Blondelle is a Lecturer in Voice at LUCA School of Arts (Brussels) and an internationally acclaimed tenor soloist. He performs with leading opera houses such as Deutsche Oper Berlin, Bavarian State Opera Munich, La Monnaie Brussels, and Volksoper Vienna. His engagements include the BBC Proms and Saito Kinen Festival in Japan.

Education: Studied Musicology at KU Leuven.

Research interests focus on vocal performance techniques and classical repertoire interpretation, reflecting his dual role as an academic and professional artist. His performances span countries including Japan, France, and China, emphasizing cross-cultural artistic exchange.

Award highlights include top prizes at the Queen Elisabeth Competition (Belgium), Vinas Concours (Barcelona), and Belvedere Concours (Vienna). His teaching integrates stagecraft with historical performance practices, shaping future generations of singers.
