Dr. Tho Pham is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the Department of Economics and Related Studies, University of York. Her research focuses on applied economics, data science, gender economics, and financial economics. She holds degrees from Coventry University (MSc) and Swansea University (PhD). Dr. Pham has been awarded a British Academy/Leverhulme Small Research Grant for her project analyzing gender stereotyping in children's literature and folktales (2023–2024).
Her research combines statistical analysis, machine learning, and novel data sources like social media and web-scraped data.
