Therese Wehman

Therese Wehman, Ph.D., serves as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Education at Elmhurst University's School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, where she has taught since 1998.

Her academic credentials include:

• Ph.D. in Child Development from the Erikson Institute of Loyola University Chicago
• Advanced degrees with Illinois teaching certification in Educational Administration, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Special Education

Dr. Wehman's research centers on early childhood special education for children with disabilities (birth to age six), emphasizing systemic intervention frameworks. Her work explores organizational development in educational settings, parent-professional collaboration models, and international service learning applications. She investigates leadership development pathways within early childhood program administration while advancing team-building methodologies for interdisciplinary service delivery.
