Theodossis (Theo) Issaias is a Special Faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Architecture and Curator of the Heinz Architectural Center at the Carnegie Museum of Art. His research focuses on architecture's intersection with human rights, conflict, and shelter, notably explored in his PhD dissertation 'Architectures of the Humanitarian Front' (2021, Yale University). He co-founded FATURA Collaborative (2009), a transdisciplinary practice addressing ecological and domestic issues through design and research, collaborating with experts in geography, law, and activism. His teaching includes courses on environmental uncertainty and architectural agency at CMU.
