Dr. Theodore Robles is Professor and Vice Chair of Graduate Studies in UCLA's Department of Psychology. He earned his PhD from The Ohio State University and leads research on biopsychosocial pathways linking stress, relationships, and health.
His laboratory investigates how interpersonal dynamics (particularly marriage) modulate physiological stress responses involving the HPA axis, autonomic function, and immune activity. Current projects examine stress-skin disease pathways and mindfulness interventions for psoriasis.
