Thaddeus Ezeji is a Professor and Associate Chair at The Ohio State University's Department of Animal Sciences, affiliated with the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. (Magna Cum Laude) in Microbiology from the University of Rostock, Germany, and has extensive postdoctoral experience at the University of Illinois. His research focuses on fermentation biology, microbial physiology, and bioremediation, with an emphasis on lignocellulosic biomass utilization and biofuel production. Dr. Ezeji has authored over 80 peer-reviewed articles, 17 book chapters, and co-edited three books, with his work cited ~10,000 times.
