Tesfa Mehari

Dr Tesfa Mehari is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Accounting, Finance and Economics within the Faculty of Business at the University of Greenwich. He has held key roles such as Economics Programme Director, International Partnerships Coordinator, and Learning Enhancement Coordinator.

• Current teaching focuses on International Trade, International Development and Finance, and International Macroeconomics.
• Initiated international partnerships for the University of Greenwich in Ethiopia, including an annual conference in Addis Ababa.
• Previously held positions at the University of Asmara, University of Liverpool, Liverpool JMU, Nottingham Trent University, and University of Nottingham.
• Represented the University at the Royal Economic Society (RES), The Economics Network, and the Conference of Heads of University Departments of Economics (CHUDE).
• Active in Africa policy debates at forums like Chatham House, IFAA, and community platforms.
