Teruko Danjo

Teruko Danjo serves as a Research Fellow at the Burke Neurological Institute, Cornell University, within Weill Cornell Medicine. She is actively engaged in the Yoshida Lab under the Laboratory for Neural Connectivity Development in Physiology and Disease, focusing on translational neuroscience research.

Her research centers on Neuroscience and Neural Connectivity, specifically investigating developmental mechanisms in Physiology and Neurological Diseases such as spinal cord injury and neurodegenerative conditions. This work aims to elucidate cellular pathways for neural repair and functional recovery.

Dr. Danjo contributes to the institute's core mission of advancing neurological recovery through experimental models of motor and sensory restoration.
