Terry Williams

Terry Williams is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Information Systems & Operations Management (ISOM) department at the University of Central Oklahoma's College of Business. With over 30 years of IT industry experience prior to academia, her professional background includes roles in computer hardware/software manufacturing, software development, IT management, and business consulting.

Dr. Williams holds a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, an MBA in Marketing from the University of Memphis, and a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Memphis.

Her current research focuses on students' perceptions of online learning during the COVID pandemic. She teaches courses including Business Analytics, Database Foundations, and Enterprise Data Management.

Professional affiliations include the Oklahoma InfraGard Member Alliance and Fiber Artists of Oklahoma. Office hours for Fall 2024 include virtual appointments by appointment and in-person hours Monday 1-5 PM and Tuesday availability, with cancellations noted on D2L and office door postings.
