Terry Walker

Terry Walker is a Professor of Physics & Astronomy at The Ohio State University, holding a joint appointment in the Physics and Astronomy Departments since 1990. He specializes in theoretical astrophysics, cosmology, and high-energy nuclear physics.

His research focuses on foundational topics such as big bang nucleosynthesis, astrophysical production of light elements, and non-standard cosmologies. Recent work includes studies on dark matter annihilation, secondary particle detection, and neutrino backgrounds from supernovae.

From 2006 to 2011, Prof. Walker served as Director of the Center for Cosmology and Astro-Particle Physics (CCAPP), fostering collaboration between physics and astronomy departments.
