Terrie Hampton-Jones

Terrie Hampton-Jones is an Associate Professor and Director of the Teaching Scholars Academy at Campbell University's School of Education. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Fayetteville State University and has extensive educational credentials, including certifications in Instructional Technology, Curriculum Instruction, and National Board Certification as a Professional Teacher. Her expertise spans educational technology, teacher preparation, and leadership development. She is a Fulbright Specialist (2023-2026) and recipient of the 2024 Deans Excellence Award.

Hampton-Jones' educational journey includes an associate degree in Liberal Arts, a B.S. in Business and Organizational Development (Mount Olive University), an M.A. in Educational Supervision (University of Phoenix), and teacher licensure/certifications from Fayetteville State University and East Carolina University. She teaches technology and education courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, coordinating the Masters in School Administration (MSA) for Adult and Online Programs.

Her articles explore tech tools for dissertations, digital notebooks, and the impact of OER/VR in higher education. She leads initiatives like the Teaching Scholars Academy to foster educator excellence.
