Terrence Cain is a Professor of Law at the William H. Bowen School of Law, University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He joined the faculty full-time in 2007 after serving as an adjunct instructor from 2004 to 2007. His legal education includes a BSBA from the University of Arkansas (1989) and a J.D. from UA Little Rock School of Law (1999), graduating with honors. He served as the associate notes editor of the UA Little Rock Law Review during law school.
Cain teaches courses in Civil Liberties, Conflict of Laws, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Employment Discrimination, Research Writing and Analysis, and Remedies. His legal practice focused on appellate advocacy before the Eighth Circuit, Arkansas Supreme Court, and Arkansas Court of Appeals, specializing in employment discrimination, domestic relations, and criminal defense. His scholarship addresses issues in criminal justice reform, appellate procedure, employment law, and constitutional law.
