Terra Glowach is a Senior Lecturer in Secondary English Education at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), primarily working on the PGCE Secondary English course in the Department of Education and Childhood. She holds a BEd in Secondary English and Biology from the University of Alberta and an MA in International Education Management from the University of Leeds, where her research focused on Pupil Referral Units' role in rebuilding trust among excluded students.
Her research explores critical pedagogy and inclusive education, with emphasis on:

- Decolonising curricula to address systemic biases
- Dialogic teaching methodologies
- Developing oracy (spoken language) skills
