Teri Runo

Teri Runo serves as Associate Professor and Director of the Health Services Administration (MHSA) program at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton, Florida, leveraging over three decades of industry experience from Abbott Laboratories in medical devices.

Her academic credentials include an MHSA in Health Services Administration from LECOM and a BA in Communications from Ashland University.

Professor Runo's research focuses on healthcare administration systems, medical device innovation, regulatory compliance frameworks, quality management protocols, and manufacturing optimization within health ecosystems. She pioneered the LECOM Bradenton Inter-professional Research Day since 2016, curating over 1,000 health and wellness research projects through interdisciplinary collaboration.

As MHSA Program Director, she implements experiential learning via industry case studies, live projects, and expert guest lectures, emphasizing real-world application to develop next-generation healthcare leaders with integrated clinical and operational perspectives.
