Teri Bingham

Dr. Teri Bingham is a Professor of Education at West Texas A&M University (WTAMU) in the College of Education and Social Sciences, Department of Education. She joined WTAMU in 1993 and serves as the MAT Program Director. Her office is located in Old Main 434, and she can be reached at tbingham@wtamu.edu.

Dr. Bingham teaches courses such as Teaching Methods, Educational Psychology, and Classroom Management in the Educator Preparation Program (EPP), alongside Human Development for master's students. Her research focuses on pedagogical strategies for teacher preparation, particularly aligned with Texas State Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities (PPR) certification.

Dr. Bingham is renowned for her contributions to education, including authoring and editing the textbook Teaching Texas, designed to prepare preservice teachers for classroom realities and certification exams. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and presented at educational conferences and staff development meetings.
