Teresa Johnson is Professor of Marine Policy at the University of Maine's School of Marine Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. from Rutgers University and directs the Johnson Marine Social Science Lab.
Her applied research employs ethnographic approaches to examine:

- Shellfish and seaweed aquaculture development
