Dr. Teresa Fitzpatrick is a Lecturer in Strategy, Digital Awareness, and Project Management within the Department of Strategy, Enterprise and Sustainability at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School. A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy since 2015 and Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE), she teaches courses at multiple levels including Digital Awareness & Professional Development (L4), Employability Skills (L5), Strategic Management, and Project Management (L6-L7).
Her research examines applied strategy, evaluation methodologies, and environmental policy through interdisciplinary lenses including material ecofeminism and critical plant studies. Dr. Fitzpatrick has published extensively in ecocriticism and Gothic studies, with recent work exploring ecohorror, plant metaphors in literature, and Victorian ecofeminism.
Prior to joining academia full-time in 2022, she developed evaluation frameworks as a Policy Analyst and Strategy Manager for business and environmental policy, while concurrently teaching evaluation methodologies (2007-2010). She further developed her pedagogy through business growth programs and FE lecturing (2015-2021).
