Terence Cranendonk is an Adjunct Professor of Theatre at the School of Theatre and Dance, Kent State University. He has extensive experience in physical theatre and performance research, informed by collaborations with influential institutions and practitioners.
- Studied privately with Ryszard Cieslak (Polish Laboratory Theatre) in 1989
- Member of New World Performance Laboratory (1992-1999)
- Creative collaborator with Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards' Workcenter (sessions in 1989, 2019, 2021)
- Co-founder of Mustard Seed Theater Lab (1986-1989)
His artistic work, including the solo piece I Dreamed of Rats (1997-2015), explores intersections of Stanislavski, Grotowski, Feldenkrais, and Wilhelm Reich. He is currently a Creative Collaborator with Theatre No Theatre alongside Debora Totti and former members of the Workcenter.
