Teodora Pesheva

Teodora Pesheva serves as a Lecturer in the Engineering Design Department at Technical University of Sofia, teaching Font and Calligraphy and Graphic Design courses. Her academic foundation includes studies at the National Academy of Fine Arts 'Ilia Petrov' in Sofia, with specialized training in Graphics, Pedagogy, and Spatial Design.

Her research interests span Graphic Design, Font and Calligraphy, Spatial Design, Scientific Illustration, and Painting Techniques, reflecting her dual expertise in artistic creation and technical design. This interdisciplinary approach informs her teaching methodology that bridges creative expression with engineering principles.

Pesheva actively participates in professional development through her membership in the Society of Animalists, Florists and Scientific Illustrators (DAPHNI) since 2017. Her notable project contribution to 'The Great Return' demonstrates applied research in scientific illustration, creating visual documentation of endangered Bulgarian species through collaboration with Sofia University and the National Museum of Natural History.

In her mentorship approach, she emphasizes developing students' non-conventional thinking abilities while maintaining technical precision.
