Tenee Hart

Tenee Hart is an Adjunct Instructor and MFA Coordinator in the Department of Art at Florida State University. She holds a Master of Fine Arts (2015) from Florida State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art (2011) from the University of Mary Washington, and an Associate of Arts (2008) from Germanna Community College. Her work focuses on feminist themes intersecting with fiber sculpture, material culture, and anatomical representation.

Her creative practice explores domestic materials through process-based methods, challenging traditional gender roles and societal expectations. Notable works include Cestoda 2.0, Bosom Booster 2.0, and Ugusui Bosom Booster, which interrogate beauty standards and female anatomical representation.

Professional service includes leadership roles at the 621 Gallery (President 2017–2018, Vice President 2016–2017), Gallery 208 (Director/Curator 2012–2015), and League of Graduate Artists (President 2014). She received the Emil SchNellock Award in Painting (2011).
