Telford Work is a Professor of Theology at Westmont College, with teaching experience across five continents. He holds a Ph.D. in Religion (Theology and Ethics) from Duke University, an M.A. in Theological and Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University. His research focuses on theology, biblical studies, and Christian ethics, with special attention to Christian unity and interdenominational dialogue. He has authored multiple books, including Jesus—The End of the Beginning and Ain’t Too Proud to Beg, and contributed to scholarly journals such as Theology Today and Pro Ecclesia.
Dr. Work is a signatory of the 'Princeton Proposal for Christian Unity' and actively participates in community roles, including Scoutmaster of Montecito's troop and volunteer chaplain at Santa Barbara County Jail. His online lectures on Christian doctrine are available on YouTube and iTunes U.
