Tasos Dagiuklas is a Professor in Computer Science and Informatics at London South Bank University, where he leads research in next-generation networks through the Digital x Data Research Centre. He is currently accepting PhD students for projects on Network Automation, 6G Resilience, and LLM Orchestration.
His research focuses on cutting-edge telecommunications technologies, particularly:
- Network automation frameworks for integrated terrestrial/non-terrestrial networks
- Resilient architectures for 6G systems
- Orchestration of large language models in distributed networks
- Edge computing security and federated learning
Analysis of recent publications reveals strong emphasis on 6G infrastructure, with recurring themes including: federated learning optimizations (especially for edge environments), security frameworks for distributed systems, and sustainable computing architectures. Over 75% of recent work addresses AI/ML integration in telecommunications.
He directs the Digital x Data Research Centre, coordinating multiple teams working on network virtualization, IoT security, and intelligent systems. Current grants include Horizon Europe projects on 6G testbeds and industrial IoT security.
